Doctors always remind us of the importance of taking frequent, short breaks while working with computers but, honestly, how many of us actually take them?
Off4Fit is a simple tool that makes sure you follow the doctor's advice, not only taking the necessary pauses while working with a PC, but also doing some stretching exercises that will help you avoid certain RSI conditions caused by repetitive movements.
Once you set the time interval you want to have between pauses (60 minutes ideally) the program will be running in the background until the break alarm goes off. You can then open it up and do some simple stretching and relaxing exercises for your eyes, hands and whole body, following a 3D virtual model's movements.
Besides this basic functionality Off4Fit doesn't include any more advanced features. I personally missed having more exercises to choose from and more possibilities when setting up a schedule. Also, the program displays a few obtrusive ads although, luckily, these can be turned off.
With Off4Fit you can schedule short breaks while you're working with the PC and follow the program's guidelines to some basic stretching exercises.
