You can follow one player's career, manage a team, play a single game, run a league, or just play minigames in the game's virtual neighborhood. Small refinements in the game include improved stealing and greater rewards for staying in front of a dribbling opponent, as well as a reduced reliance on microtransactions and a more streamlined badge system. Cosmetic changes such as changing clothes or getting a new haircut are now easier as well.
NBA 2K19 delivers the features that made previous NBA 2K games fun while eliminating some of the minor points that could get in the way of enjoyment. It's well worth checking out for basketball fans.
