Easy WiFi, formerly known as Devicescape, automatically connects laptops to the Internet. The free software displays a map of nearby hotspots and automatically connects devices to one of the wireless access points upon request.
After installation and a free registration with the manufacturer, Easy WiFi automatically connects to the extensive WiFi network Easy WiFi Network. Additionally, if desired, you can enter additional personal WLAN access points - such as from a university or another organization. Easy WiFi shows availability and signal strength in different colors and using bars.
ConclusionWith Easy WiFi, you always have an Internet connection at hand. The freeware works quickly and well in urban areas. However, you should not send important data over the wireless network.
