Create a unique new species in this simulation game

Animash is a free simulation game from Abstract Software Inc. where you can merge two distinct creatures together in order to create an entirely new species. This game makes use of artificial intelligence to find which characteristics to showcase in the final combination.

In addition to your usual animals, like dogs, ferrets, crows, and whales, you can also choose from an array of food items, including fruits, vegetables, sweets, and fast food. To make the game even wackier, there are some unique selections—such as appliances, human beings, and even vehicles—that you can unlock over time, as well. 

A cute casual game

With adorable 3D graphics and a wacky premise, Animash proves to be a low-investment yet entertaining game that suits players of all ages. As already stated above, you can choose from a sizable selection of creatures in order to create a unique mix of your own. There are various combinations ranging from common ones to ultra-rare creatures, so try to create as many combinations as you can.

When you first start out, you’ll only be able to access a small group of creatures, however, new ones will unlock every three hours. Despite its unique premise, however, this game also has its fair share of downsides. One of the most notable ones is the lack of variety in gameplay. Apart from combining species over and over again, there’s nothing else for you to do in this game.

Another persistent issue is the lengthy loading screen that appears every time you open the app. Even with a stable internet connection, it takes ages just to get to the game’s main screen. There is also an issue where the page that shows your merged creature does not have any buttons that can navigate to the next page or back to the main screen.

Needs UI improvements

Overall, Animash is a family-friendly game with incredibly cute graphics that make it even more fun to visualize the thousands of unique hybrid creatures you can create. However, the monotonous gameplay can quickly become boring. Moreover, the numerous issues with the app’s user interface make it incredibly difficult to get anything done or to even play the game for extended periods of time without having to restart it repeatedly.
