Solar Smash is a mobile planet destruction simulator by Paradyme Games. The goal of this game is to realistically portray and visualize the end of the world. By combining thousands of nuclear weapons, lasers, and asteroids, the simulation project focuses on how the Earth will explode. It may give you an answer to some questions regarding nuclear weapons, like what would happen if some countries would use their arsenals. 

The hope of humanity in your hands

Solar Smash has a comprehensive list of man-made and natural calamities that you can select. These are found in the command and control system; it shows how locations and movements of forces, weapons delivery systems, and humanitarian consequences affect Earth. These will come together to visualize and calculate the effects of the catastrophe on a worldwide scale. It includes asteroids, nukes, unknown beings, S-Beams, L-Beams, and the Moon.

Once the attacks take place, the results will be calculated and visualized in seconds. You can create your own attack plans and conflict scenarios to calculate the probability of your survival. Other simulation options include the dynamics and timing of the conflict. Paradigm Games imagined even fictional or theoretical catastrophes like aliens. It’s referred to as UFOs in the game, and it does not provide any specific ways that the aliens will destroy all life on Earth.

Compared to other post-apocalyptic games, Solar Smash is more straightforward. There are no characters or story. To play it, you only need to select the command and watch it wipe out the planet. Beneath it is a counter that lets you know how many people are living on earth and how many have died by your hands. It’s fun to see a few times, but after several replays, it will get repetitive.

Solar Smash is a plain but advanced simulator that comes with all the systems and processes that would clear the world of people. You will have full control of the simulation, making decisions that can make or break all life on earth. As you play, the map will display the levels of casualties, and fallout. All of these will come together to show you the disturbing aftermath.
