What I like this game is that it is also friendly to beginners who are completely clueless about tennis matches. It has tutorials and guides that you can follow while playing. In the middle of a match, indicators will appear on the court to give you a heads up on where the tennis ball will land. The guides are optional but they prove to be really helpful for amateur players. The game has different levels of difficulty and you can adjust them according to your preference. Like in a real tennis competition, you can also choose to play either in Singles, Doubles, or in a group of 3. There are also lots of tennis tournaments you can participate in. At first glance, you might think that the game is boring but it starts to get intense once the tennis rallies start. You will find yourself trying so hard not to be the first to break the streak by failing to hit the ball back to your opponent. It really feels as if you are actually in the court with how suspenseful the game becomes. 

Game graphics

The game has playable 3D characters that can be customized. When looking at the graphics of the whole game collectively, you would agree that it is kind of old-school but it does not affect the gameplay. It also does not make the game look unpleasant. The movements are still smooth and you will be able to enjoy rallies to the fullest. There is also a wide selection of tennis courts that you can choose from like grass, classic, and indoor. 

Game controls

You might have a little bit of a hard time with the game’s controls but only during your first tries at playing it. The difficulty with the controls mostly comes from the player itself being hesitant and uncertain with how your player will respond to the commands. I can say that the controls are pretty responsive and are actually really easy. You just have to get used to it, which will not take a long time. If you still are feeling unsure, do not worry because as mentioned before, the game can provide you with guides on where the ball will possibly land on the court as you play. You will know where you should position yourself in order to hit the ball.

Tennis Elbow 2013 will not disappoint you and it is able to deliver the basic expectations of a tennis sports game. There might not be any feature in the game that makes it stand out from the rest but regardless, it still has fun and exciting matches you can play.
