Open Workbench is a useful business productivity tool that enables business owners to properly keep track and manage their projects. This includes scheduling tasks and monitoring the progress of each one. Having this productivity software makes it easier for you to oversee how your projects, especially complex ones, are faring step by step.
Of course, in order for Open Workbench to help you with project monitoring, you will have to manually input all the necessary data and information about the task. Upon launching the software, users can immediately fill out everything that Open Workbench will be asking for. You will see, after giving the interface a once over, that it has conveniently divided the tasks into steps: planning, executing, and controlling. The Gant chart, a bar chart that is widely used and known for illustrating project schedules, is also made accessible under the management area, which is on the side panel of your window.
The Gant chart will show you all relevant information such as project budget, resources, and task schedule, all of which can be edited if needed. There are also other tools for project management available such as the CPM Network, which shows the start and end dates of certain tasks and projects, and the Phase Level Gantt which includes not only the dates but as well as the progression of the project until it was finally done. You may notice that Open Workbench looks outdated and very much an old-looking software, but do not worry because it is intuitive and gets the job done.
