A repackaged version of TalkIt!, Ogif's TalkAny is a free-to-download program that converts typewritten English or Spanish text into speech. Whether you prefer to have your text dictated by an old woman or a martian-sounding voice, this software gives you the freedom to try out each voice personality. 

Tweak your preferred voice

Using Ogif's TalkAny, you can adjust the pitch and speed values of your preferred voice personality and select whether you want your typewritten text to be delivered in a natural, monotone, or singing voice. There’s also the Vocal Effort setting that includes the following options: Normal, Breathy, or Whispered.

However, there are a lot of drawbacks to using this program. In addition to its outdated interface, some of the voices sound too generic or not human-like. Unfortunately, this program is tedious to use, as the individual has to paste or type everything in the text box.

An outdated software

Sadly, Ogif's TalkAny is hard to recommend as it lacks all the modern features that enable the seamless conversion of text to speech. However — despite being an outdated, barebones program — it’s fun playing around with the voice personalities and audio settings.
