Monster Jam Steel Titans 2 is a premium racing game for PC by developer Rainbow Studios. It is an extreme truck simulator that lets players control monster truck models from the Monster Jam TV show. They will be exploring multiple locations and environments while performing crazy stunts.

Building upon the solid foundation established by Monster Jam Steel Titan, Monster Jam Steel Titans 2 introduces new trucks from its predecessor, as well as various DLCs for players to try out. It offers multiple game modes and stadiums based on the show to drive and perform stunts on.

Bigger and bolder

Monster Jam is a live motorsports event tour revolving around monster trucks and primarily focused on three forms of competition, namely racing, two-wheeled skills, and freestyle. It became quite popular that a video game series was born from it, with Monster Jam Steel Titans 2 being the last one. The release of said game brings more trucks, game modes, and a lot of pandemonium.

This time around, the sequel brings 38 trucks from the history of Monster Jam, including Sparkle Smash, Grave Digger, and more. This can be further expanded to 54 if you purchase the two optional DLCs on offer. There are five worlds to unlock as you progress through the game's chapters and compete in 12 stadiums based on real-world locations from the show.

What's more, there are now new online multiplayer modes to enjoy with friends, such as Derby Racing, and Timed Destruction, just to name a few. However, despite all the new additions it brings, the gameplay still feels a little stale and repetitive. The story campaign isn't all that interesting and various side tasks are quite tedious to perform. There's nothing new here from its predecessor.

Much of the same

If you love all things monster truck, then you will get a kick out of Monster Jam Steel Titans 2. There are more trucks, game modes, and general content to be experienced here, which you'll enjoy. If you're comparing it to the first release, though, you might be a bit underwhelmed by the lack of anything new. Hopefully, the next one will be better.
