Everyone’s favorite board game can now be played on your PC. Classic Monopoly is a trading and real estate game developed by Ilyesoft that is based on the actual Monopoly board game. You can now play with your friends and family even without a real board on hand.

Become the richest of all

Classic Monopoly follows the original rules of the board game. You will have to invest in properties as early as you can so can you have them rented out and upgraded. Earn more money every time another player stops on your property or facility. Keep on upgrading your properties as much as you can. The more upgrades you have, the more expensive your property’s worth will be and players will have to pay more money. It is all a matter of luck when rolling the dice and very good strategizing on your part. An advice I can give you is to not get carried away by buying too much land when the game is just beginning. You will lose money fast and it will be really hard to recover your riches later on.  It may get heated and intense as the game progresses, especially when there are only a few stations left to occupy. If you are really good at negotiating, it is time to put that skill to use!

As easy as pie

It is actually very easy to play on your PC. Players will be taking turns in rolling the dice. In order to determine the number of steps you will be taking, you simply have to click on “ROLL,” which is located at the middle of the board. It is also where the dice is displayed. The game will automatically navigate you around the stations until you reach your stop. You then have to decide what you are going to do next depending on the place you stopped at. Pray that you won’t have to go to jail! When you do, you will lose a turn unless you are willing to pay for your freedom. Lose a turn or lose money? Think carefully! 

Classic Monopoly will also keep track of your properties for you so you would not have to list them on paper. The number of places or stations that you own is displayed on your screen. Your last actions are also being recorded as well as the amount of money you have with you. It also has a card dealer for when you need to draw from the Community Chest or a Chance Card. 

If you ever forget whose turn is next, there is nothing to worry about because the game will remind you about it. It will show the name of the next player in the middle of the board. There is also a time limit set for each player to make his or her next move. You will have to make decisions before the time is up. Are you going to buy the property or are you going to sell a station you already own? Think quickly before time runs out! 

All about the money

Classic Monopoly is a very enjoyable game that you can play to bond with your family and friends. It is really exciting because of how challenging it can get. You will find it hard to win but I assure that it is going to be a well-earned victory.
