DC++ is a P2P (peer-to-peer) file-sharing application (and also a community) that you can use to share files with peers and also chat with people connected to the hub.
DC++ interface is simple and easy to use, and it also has a nice layout. The client is advertisement-free and still costs no money to the user. Router and firewall support is integrated. Moreover, the tool incorporates convenient functionalities such as auto connections, multi-hub connections, and download resumption services. DC++ has ventured and carved a space for itself in this well-connected niche. The Direct Connect Network file sharing client offers an array of functionalities, including the ability to simultaneously connect to various Direct Control hubs, search through different hubs, etc.
Connecting to the hub is fairly simple. After installing the program, you must create a share directory and nickname, and set the total upload slots you won’t mind giving. There is an inbuilt public hub that helps you locate communities you are interested in, which you can search using keywords. Commands for various objectives, such as registering your nickname, are typed into the primary chat window. There are several mouse-over-labels that help with understanding things. Community people are usually forthcoming with offering guidance and advice, which could be probably due to the small community sizes. Finding the files you need should not be an issue, provided you are a part of the right hub.
