Construction Simulator puts you at the controls of heavy construction vehicles within a free roaming game environment. Being the first of its kind, the game is highly realistic, and players must operate up to 16 different machines at all stages of the construction process, including forklifts, cranes, and flatbed trucks.

Construction Simulator is based around a career mode that unfolds in a fully interactive game world, which players must explore to find work. Players start off taking on smaller jobs, before progressing to larger contracts, such as erecting wind turbines. The intricacies associated with the operation of each of the individual vehicles takes some practice to master: using the crane, for example, requires incredibly steady hands. It is even possible to play the game in conjunction with double joysticks, emulating the controls of certain machines.

With over 200 individual missions to complete, Construction Simulator is a lengthy game.
