Castle Crashers® is a premium action and adventure game presenting players with a large, colorful, rather wacky world to explore. For example, you will be pursued by the giant monster, trying to win over the princess's affection and riding animals that look like they're from another planet.
Boss battles are also challenging, requiring you to hone your skills and attack strategically. If you’re having trouble beating a boss, try leveling up until you can take it down. In this way, you can use skills points to upgrade your character's stats and acquire new weapons. Moreover, while battling through the game, you can unlock more than 25 playable characters and 40 weapons for you to use.
While you can enjoy this game by yourself, it’s much more fun to play in multiplayer mode with up to four other players. You can play against other players in Arena mode, competing in free-for-all or team battles. In addition, there is an Insane mode for the most skilled players to test their mettle in a campaign designed for the challenge. You can also play a mini-game called Back Off Barbarian, in which the goal is to move your character across a grid while avoiding barbarians who will spawn if you don't tap buttons quickly enough.
Castle Crashers® includes an optional texture quality setting designed to improve graphics and enhance your gaming experience.
