Volkswagen Scirocco R 24H Challenge

Try out the sporty car on a challenging racetrack

In Volkswagen Scirocco R 24H Challenge you can drive the new sports hatchback around a long racetrack inspired by the world famous Nurburg Ring.

This free game has only one track, although it's a twisting and turning course that takes time to learn. There is of course only one car, the Volkswagen Scirocco R, although you can choose its color! There are three game modes: practice, 24H and multi-player.

Volkswagen Scirocco R 24H Challenge can be controlled by tilt or touch, although neither are perfect, and the accelerator can be set to always on, so you just have to brake and steer. The engine noises are good, apparently recorded from the real car, and the graphics move well and look convincing.

The 24H challenge mode is fairly difficult, putting you in the closing minutes of a 24H race, with lots of cars still to beat! Reaching first requires some serious skill. In practice mode, your only competitor is your own lap time. Multi-player is a great idea, but when we tested the game, no servers were available.

Volkswagen Scirocco R 24H Challenge looks good, and plays well. It's limited by having only one track and not enough online activity.
