In this game, each player will experience events from the past and future and communicate with one another. You will exchange vital information with one another to solve puzzles and mysteries in each of your time. It's one of those instances where teamwork is a must to get anywhere in the game. Another nice feature of the game is its cross-platform gameplay support. That basically means you can play together regardless of which platform or device you use. There's even some level of replayability that will let you switch places and solve puzzles differently. Just be aware that there is no single-player mode option, so you will always need two people to play.

If you're a fan of the Rusty Lake games, then The Past Within is an interesting entry to it that focuses on one of its most unsavory characters.
