The official alternative to Telegram

Telegram is probably one of the most popular communication apps these days. Thanks largely to its focus on security and, of course, its free price tag, it has gained massive usage. And now, Telegram’s developer released an official alternative client, spawned by no less than the original app itself. Telegram X is a messaging app that aims to offer users a quicker and more fluid browsing than its predecessor. The app basically offers a simpler, more streamlined interface to offer a better experience. It also offers more customization options. All in all, it does what the original app does with a few new tricks.

A while back, a client called Challegram popped up to give Telegram users an alternative. Telegram developers acquired the said client and renamed it to Telegram X, which has become the original app’s official alternative client. The app includes all the basic messaging features, with a few experimental functions added to make the user experience better. 

At a glance, there is no noticeable difference between the two Telegram apps. But, Telegram X is built to be noticeably faster and smoother. It has a more streamlined interface chatting. It even comes with a separate tab for calls. There are also several customization options available, including a night mode display and bubble-chat box options. There are even some added features that you can enjoy, such as the built-in photo editor, and the option to save your received files on the cloud. 

Essentially, Telegram X is an excellent alternative that is already a standalone success of an IM app. It still allows you to send messages as per usual, which includes sending voice messages, media files, GIFs, documents, links, and emojis. But it categorizes received attachments for easier browsing. However, there are still some functions that you can only enjoy with the original app.
