Super Fighter M is a free game published by Cayman Games that brings the Super Mario Bros characters into an action-RPG. Here, Mario is on a mission to save Princess Peach from the villain, Browser. Along the way, he will meet other characters, and together they will set out to complete quests.

Super Fighter M is a bootleg game that includes lots of unlicensed appearances from multiple members of Nintendo games. With this, expect lots of differences from the licensed versions. The most notable of which is the limited voice acting that spouts some of the most absurd dialogue imaginable. 

What is Super Fighter M?

At first glance, Super Fighter M seems similar to Super Smash Bros. Here, several kid-friendly Nintendo characters will make an appearance. However, unlike the popular title, they will not be tarring out each other. Instead, they will team up to save Peach from the evil villain, Browser. Additionally, there will be characters from other franchises who will show up, including Sonic the Hedgehog and Cloud, from the Final Fantasy series.

Typical of role-playing games, Super Fighter M starts with the main man, Mario, getting beat up and Peach kidnapped. Mario— later joined by Cappy and Luigi—will then start his quest of saving Peach. They will take on bosses and enemies, while summoning characters from other worlds to help them with their mission. Only the game is also gacha, so you will spend in-game currency to pull a new character.

As noted, the game is not an official Nintendo game. In fact, the first minute in, and anyone can see how different things are in the world of Super Fighter M. Each cut-scene is a parade of absurdity. The characters' voices sound like they belong to the same person, and the lines are odd. Despite all that, many of the fun facts in the game are canon and well-researched. 

Is the game good?

Gameplay-wise, Super Fighter M is your typical RPG game with gacha elements. Everything you see in the game is already done by other action-RPGs. Even the characters are very familiar. What makes it unique is the absurd combination of characters from other game worlds. It is no Super Smash Bros., but it clearly has some merit as a viral sensation.
