The game allows players to create up to 20 characters, and players can choose any gender, race, and age they want. There is a wide variety of hair colors and styles that users can use to customize their characters. For players who also play other My City games, they can also connect those games to My City: After School and import characters quickly and easily.

One of the best things about this game is that it supports multi-touch, so kids will be able to play this with their friends. Speaking of kids, parents can rest assured that their kids are protected from harmful ads because this game doesn’t have any.

Locations to Explore

My City: After School has six main locations to explore: a library, karate class, fountain park, pond, skateboard park, and pizzeria. The park is arguably the best location because there are a lot of interactive elements within it. For example, you can eat ice cream and candies as well as change the fountain decoration. The game also comes with a night and day function and the fountain is one of the best things to view during night time. As for the other locations, they usually have something unique about them to play with, but overall, they basically offer the same basic experience. You can read a book in the library, for example, and skate at the skateboard park.

Problematic Aspects

The biggest problem with this game is the loading glitch. After downloading the game, there are times when it won’t proceed beyond the loading screen. In addition to the loading problem, the game also has limited music. The game has a wide range of sound effects from eating to putting on clothes, but for some reason, it has no accompanying music in the background.

My City: After School is a game meant for little kids. If you want a game that will keep your four-year-old kid busy for a while, this is a good option. It’s flashy and colorful enough to enthrall your kid and have them clicking away at the screen, but any older than that and you’ll probably want something with a more complex gameplay.
