Ms. PAC-MAN by Namco is an arcade video game developed by Namco and it is a sequel to the original Pac-Man game and features similar gameplay but with some significant additions and changes. In the game, you’ll control the eponymous character as she navigates through a maze while eating pellets and avoiding ghosts.

Unlike the original Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man features four different mazes, each with a unique layout and different colored pellets. The game also introduces several new features such as new powerups, bonus items, and more challenging enemy behavior.

An addicting sequel

The gameplay of Ms. Pac-Man by Namco is relatively simple but challenging, and it involves you guiding Ms. Pac-Man through an environment while consuming things and defeating enemies. The game is played with a joystick and a single button that allows the character to change direction. The objective of the game is to eat all of the pellets in the maze while avoiding the four ghosts, named Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde. 

If Ms. Pac-Man comes into contact with a ghost, she loses her life. However, you can temporarily turn the tables on the ghosts by eating one of the four large pellets located in the corners of the maze. When Ms. Pac-Man eats a large pellet, the ghosts turn blue, and you can eat them for extra points. There are also fruit bonuses that appear periodically in the maze.

The game ends when you lose all of your lives, and your final score is based on the number of pellets eaten, ghosts eaten, and fruit bonuses collected. The gameplay is known for its addictiveness, simplicity, and challenging level design, making it one of the most beloved arcade games of all time. However, the game's simple gameplay and lack of variation in the objective can become repetitive after extended play.
